On the morning of September 11, 2001 the lives of Americans, and those inside remaining portion of the word, were changed forever. It was about this day we were awakened to something that there was never given much thought, terrorism. While there had been random acts such as the Oklahoma City bombing, the very first World Trade Center bombing, the Unibomber, or Waco, those committing these crimes were typically Americans. They appeared as if us, talked like us and spent my youth within our cities and towns. The crimes of 9/11 were perpetrated by the number of “Thems” from countries many of us never got word of, not to say visited. Americans, “We”, once more had a “Them” to suggest to and blame.
These include their dietary code. They refrain from pork as taught in the book of Leviticus. They do not smoke–“You shall not commit murder” (of yourself) nor would they drink alcohol–“Wine is often a mocker, strong drink is raging, and whoever is deceived thereby is not wise,” Proverbs 20:1. Islam also regards homo-sexuality as wrong. They believe inside the sanctity of marriage, in not lying or stealing, nor murdering innocent people.
Racism which is the serious problem of today’s modern world has completely finished in Islam. And its practical example is visible on the annual pilgrimage at Makah annually. Where Muslims from all around the world come together and perform hajj without any difference. Where slave and king offers the prayer together.
So, creates this change mean the decline of religion within the US or tend to be more plus much more families partaking in services, but putting little or no in the hat as tithing comes there way? Probably several of both lately, and you’d think folks could be better their “invisible friends” during hard economic times, but apparently they are not – or they do not have almost anything to give anymore. And the churches just cannot afford handy out any more fish today, rather they desire you to definitely throw them a line – which is likely not happening either.
Ask yourself this, if the religion could not explain all the questions you need to ask in life or cannot provide you with the platform to look for these answers, do you still abide by it? I can safely say for myself: no. The reason is because we should instead be inquisitive in anything that continues within our religions. Failure to do this leave us vulnerable to acquiring information that is sometimes harmful or damaging to reason.
Many people complain that most from the jobs in your country went along to Mexico after NAFTA was signed. No, not every the jobs visited Mexico, but a big chunk ones did, and a lot of union workers complain because those were good paying jobs at once. You may not realize this but at some part in American history 75% of our economy was manufacturing, today it’s around 10%. Some people say it really is higher depending on how you figure it. But the the fact is the service sector, and also the retail sector blow away the manufacturing sector for that number of jobs inside percentage of our own economy’s GDP.
